The Smart Condo Project is a collaborative effort between The Brenda Strafford Foundation and Health Cities.
The project develops a “sandbox” environment to be deployed within a Brenda Strafford Foundation condo unit in close proximity to Brenda Strafford Foundation facilities. Innovative solutions will be selected and installed to monitor the health of a selected condo tenant in an effort to slow, or reverse, any decline in health to aid aging in place.
Evidence shows that technology can play a meaningful role in helping older adults remain safe, independent, and connected to their homes and communities. This Smart Condo project is focused on achieving these key objectives:.
The Brenda Strafford Foundation is seeking a tenant (55+) interested in exploring aging in place options for a Smart Condo project. The ideal candidate will be an independently living senior with an interest in learning how innovative technologies and solutions can improve health outcomes for aging individuals.
