Doreen loves to perform and entertain others. As a child, her parents were music lovers and encouraged her to grow her musical talents through singing and playing piano.
“Singing is a huge part of my identity. It’s brought me a lot of joy and fulfillment,” said Doreen. “It is a huge part of who I am.”
Now, as a resident at the Brenda Strafford Foundation, she wished that she would have the chance to sing for others again. After hearing about her wish, the BSF was very excited to make it a reality.
During Wentworth Manor’s Christmas party, Doreen performed on stage for residents, families, and staff. The room was full of joy as she sang Christmas songs and entertained once again.
“It brings me so much pleasure to uplift others through song and singing,” said Doreen. “I have peace and satisfaction sharing these special moments together.”
