National Nursing Week 2024 - Meet Marilyn!

In honour of National Nursing Week, we would like to take the opportunity to highlight and celebrate our dedicated and compassionate nurses.

Meet Marilyn! Marilyn is a Registered Nurse at BSF’s Tudor Manor. Earlier this week, she wore her traditional nursing attire from her graduation 43 years ago, bringing smiles to residents, families, and staff!

“I didn't choose nursing, nursing chose me,” she shared. “This profession meets people where they are at in their life journey.”

Marilyn enjoys working at BSF, because of our supportive and caring team. “Fabulous care staff support each other in resident care, and management is approachable. All employees from housekeeping to dietary are heart forward in their interactions,” she said. “The best part of working at BSF is the incredibly supportive team. Everyone's on the side of the best resident care possible. It’s inspiring.”
