"I heard about the BSF Kids’ Education Fund Program though my dad.
I’m in my second year of biomedical sciences at the University of Calgary. My career goals are not set in stone yet, I do see myself working in the field of science. Whether it be research, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy or even pharmacology, I am still trying to figure it out as I go.
We have both benefited from the program as it lowered my tuition costs. This fund allowed me to focus more attention on my studies and spend less hours working at my part-time job. This fund was also an opportunity to practice writing scholarship applications as well. This scholarship allowed me to focus my studies and invest in my future.
By receiving this reimbursement, it has provided me with necessary support to cover my financial expenses and focus on my studies without the burdensome financial constraints."
