Garden Loft and The Brenda Strafford Foundation (BSF) are pleased to formalize a partnership between our two organizations, bringing together our award-winning architectural and care services and maximizing our combined expertise in age-in-place housing, care and living solutions.
Garden Loft is an architecture and construction company specializing in prefabricated age-in-place housing solutions. BSF operates Aging Care and Senior Living communities with a focus on person-centred care and living services, social impact, and innovation. Together, we have co-developed the ‘Atrium Way.’ This care-enhanced community living model for integrated, prefabricated small homes combines age-in-place architecture with person-centred care and living support.
The Atrium Way is an integration of the ‘Atrium House’ architectural strategy and the ‘Atrium Playbook’ to guide commissioning of the care and living operations. The prefabricated modular construction system of an Atrium House can be deployed in areas with limited access to construction materials and trades. The Atrium Playbook for commissioning the care and living operations can be customized and implemented to meet the capacity and capabilities of the service provider. The result is a one-stop shop for designing, fabricating, and launching high-quality and care-enhanced innovative housing solutions that are customized for your community’s unique needs.
The Atrium Way assists service providers in communities with unique and specialized needs to deliver small-scale, high-quality, and community-centric care solutions beyond the current model of institutionalized, hospital-like living environments.
