Rachel H is BSF’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS) & Total Rewards Manager who is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Human Resources (HR). She is a 2024 recipient of a BSF Employee Education Fund award.
Rachel began her career in payroll and worked in that field for many years. Seeking growth and new challenges, she transitioned into HR, hoping to have more direct influence on employees' lives and contribute to a supportive work environment. BSF provided her the opportunity to make this shift through education, which allowed her to expand her HR skills and broaden her impact.
She aims to continue growing in HR, making a positive difference in people’s lives by helping others and solving complex challenges. Rachel is dedicated to enhancing the employee experience by fostering a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered.
Rachel said, “BSF’s “People First” philosophy and commitment to compassionate care have inspired me to focus on processes that promote respect, support, and empowerment for employees. Being part of BSF reinforces my passion for helping others and addressing meaningful challenges for our team. I aim to simplify HR processes to make work more manageable for employees, enabling them to focus on their roles. My goal is to enhance the employee experience by supporting a culture of dignity, respect, and compassion at BSF.”
