Bow Valley College (BVC) and The Brenda Strafford Foundation (BSF) are pleased to announce an exciting new partnership that will drive innovation, enhance collaboration, and create meaningful opportunities for students and community engagement in research through our Dr. Barrie Strafford Centre for Learning, Innovation and Quality (CLIQ).

BVC is a leading post-secondary institution in Alberta, helping people reach their goals for a better education and career since 1965. BSF operates Aging Care & Senior Living communities, Community Supports including our second-stage shelter Heart Home Network, and International Healthcare, with a focus on person-centred care, social impact, and innovation.

Through collaboration, we will leverage the collective strengths of both organizations, fostering research that addresses and solves local challenges in healthcare, as well as creating opportunities for students to engage in hands-on training experiences.

This partnership aligns BVC’s mission to empower all students, challenge thinking, remove barriers, and create opportunity, with BSF’s vision for a future where people can live life to the fullest, with dignity, hope and happiness in caring and supportive communities. Together, we are committed to advancing healthcare and education through applied research and innovative solutions, creating lasting impacts and benefits for students and our broader communities.
