On Monday, March 3, 2025, Heart Home Network experienced a flooding event due to a damaged sprinkler head. Significant damage has been experienced throughout the building affecting common spaces and amenities, as well as resident suites and personal belongings.

We are urgently seeking financial support from our community to minimize the impact of damage and loss on our families at Heart Home Network.

As always, the health and safety of our clients is our top priority, and our staff acted quickly to safeguard everyone in the building. Those directly affected have been relocated into temporary housing arrangements. At least twelve women and families have been temporarily relocated into alternative accommodations while damage to their units is assessed and repaired. Multiple other families are also directly affected. Although they can safely remain at Heart Home Network, many residents are still experiencing additional stress, disruption, and loss.

We are working to assess the full extent of damage throughout the building and act quickly with restoration and repairs. We anticipate that insurance will eventually cover the cost of extensive building repairs and replacement of equipment and belongings.

However, there is an immediate financial impact on many families that have lost personal belongings, or are experiencing temporary relocation.

Our vulnerable residents who are rebuilding their lives after escaping from domestic violence situations are now facing additional uncertainty, stress and loss. Please donate to Heart Home Network's Flood Relief.
