Our SPARQ Committees are wrapping up their projects across the organization, and today we’re thrilled to highlight the incredible work at Tudor Manor!

SPARQ Committees, supported by BSF’s Dr. Barrie Strafford Centre for Learning, Innovation & Quality (CLIQ), are our Quality Improvement Committees. They bring together residents, families, front-line staff, and corporate team members to make a real difference and influence change in the places they live and work.

When the committee first met, they had a clear vision: to transform the entrance way into a functional and inviting space for residents, families, employees, and community members. The preliminary evaluation showed that an average of only five people spent time in the space daily. This was about to change!

The team brainstormed ideas and decided to revamp the non-functioning fountain into something beautiful and relaxing. With the support of the maintenance team, the center of the old fountain was replaced, and live plants were installed around it. Those who enter are now greeted by a welcoming space for everyone to enjoy!

The SPARQ Committee has already received numerous positive comments about the new space. If you find yourself at Tudor Manor, you will surely witness the wonderful transformation of the entrance way and the improved use of the space. Stay tuned as the space continues to develop further with the many ideas the SPARQ Committee has come up with!
