After careful consideration, The Brenda Strafford Foundation management team has made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone the opening of Cambridge Manor (initially scheduled for June 2020), now postponed until September 2020.
This delay is due to a number of external factors and operational challenges posed by the COVID-19 virus.
While construction is nearing completion, public health restrictions are expected to impact delivery of some equipment and supplies, the hiring and training of qualified staff, as well as inspections and certifications required from various agencies and public health authorities.
We apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this delay in opening may cause for our prospective residents and families who are eager to call Cambridge Manor their home. However, we are certain that our community will understand the circumstances beyond our control that have led to this difficult decision.
Show Suite Viewings
The health and safety of our residents and families is always our top priority. For that reason, we have currently suspended our Show Suite drop-in open houses, and Show Suite tours are available by individual appointment only until further notice. Find out more about Show Suite Viewings.
The University District Discovery Centre is currently closed until further notice, due to public health guidelines in response to COVID-19 at this time. In the meantime, you can view this 'Virtual Tour' of the Cambridge Manor Show Suites.
